In 2005, Lu & Associates contracted with an agency in Orange County which provides services to homeless women. We began with program evaluation and research, assessing the women's condition holistically at the beginning and at the end of the program. Our research found the agency's practices to be very effective. We completed a statistical analysis which proved their organization was a catalyst for change. In 2006 this data was included whenever the agency submitted a grant proposal or presented their program to a donor. The result was that the agency exceeded its grant seeking financial goals.

Since 2006, Lu & Associates has been working with a non-profit organization in Los Angeles County that provides services to pre-school children. We helped this client develop relationship building skills, improve organizational and budget strategies and strengthen agency infrastructure. In addition to touching the funders' hearts, the proposals we created for this client included case statements based on scientific facts. A stronger organization and proposals grounded on proven concepts resulted in an 70% increase in the success rate of their grant seeking activities.
